How to Use the Site

The Pilsner Urquell Galerie has been designed so you can view our new merchandise and POS ranges and make your merchandise purchase decisions or download artwork with ease.

There are four key sections to the site:

  1. On-Trade
  2. Off-Trade
  3. Corporate Gifting and
  4. Open Shop.

You can use this site to view the merchandise and POS ranges and proceed to placing your order for the items you desire. For Off-Trade you simply download the artwork files required.

on-trade

The on-trade section takes its inspiration from the consumer journey and offers you the opportunity to view our bar range within the context of this journey, in an outlet.

We have created three interactive outlets:

  1. Traditional
  2. Modern or
  3. Fine Dining

Each has been split into their respective bar zones with our merchandise range placed within identified hotspots on the consumer journey.

You have the choice of two ways in which you can navigate the on-trade section:

  1. You can click on the ON-TRADE MENU HEADER on the menu line, where you will be taken to a page and asked to choose the outlet type you wish to view.
  2. Or, you can navigate via the drop-down menu which appears if you roll your mouse over the ON-TRADE HEADER on the menu bar where you will be asked to choose 1 of 2 ways of viewing items.

    Either
    1. VIEW ALL ITEMS IN BAR   or
    2. VIEW ALL ITEMS BY LIST

In both of the above options you are asked to choose which zone of the chosen outlet you would like to view. These can be summarised as follows:

1. Traditional outlet type: Bar area
Outside Fascia or
Garden
2. Modern outlet type: Bar Area
Outside Fascia or
Garden
3. Fine Dining: Bar Area only

interactive panorama

If you choose to view items from the ON-TRADE button on the menu bar, or via the drop down menu and use the 'VIEW ALL ITEMS IN BAR' option, you will be directed to an in-bar panorama.

The panorama is interactive and can be used by dragging your mouse across the screen or using the buttons on the image section.

You will see clearly marked 'hotspots'. By clicking on the hotspot you are interested in, you will be given a list of Pilsner merchandise items which are suitable to that hotspot and available to purchase. Select the item you wish to view and you will be presented with an item visual, descriptor copy and order information.

If you have chosen the 'VIEW ALL ITEMS BY LIST' option you will by-pass the interactive panorama section and go straight to the list of Pilsner items available in this outlet type area.

corporate gifting section

You can only access the Corporate Gifting section via the drop down menu by placing your mouse over the Gifting header on the menu bar.

Here, again, you have 2 options to view….

  1. Click here to view items in the Galerie
  2. Click here to view items by list
  1. If you choose to 'View items in the Galerie' you will be taken to an interactive 'carousel', clicking on the item enlarges the image and provides all descriptor copy and order information.
  2. If you choose to 'view items by list' you will be directed to a page that shows all the items available in the corporate gifting range and the option to view more details.

Alternatively, for future use, if you are familiar with the site you can use the Quick Search function at the top of the page to find an item you are looking for in either the corporate gifting or bar range.

Open Shop

You can access the Open Shop via the main menu bar.

This section has two subsections; Golf Wear and Golf Accessories.

To navigate to these subsections, simply click the menu pillars on the left hand side. The menu pillars will slide to the right to reveal a range of golf items with images, item details and order quantities.

The sections can be closed by clicking on the preceding menu pillar on the right hand side.

Items are ordered in exactly the same way as for On-Trade and Corporate Gifting.

placing an order

In all cases, once you have chosen an item to view, you will be given the chance to place the item and your desired quantity in your 'ORDER BASKET'.

There are 3 important details on this page that will affect your final order:

TIERED PRICING: Once the order window is closed, we will collate a global order quantity to determine a final global price for each item.

MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITIES: For each item there is a global minimum order quantity – this order total must be reached on a global basis to ensure the price detailed on the first cost option line. If this number is not met, you will be notified personally within two weeks of the order window closing.

SALES UNITS: You will notice that some items feature a specified sales unit – this means that these items can only be purchased in multiples of this sales unit number, due to the way the items are packed by carton or palette. For example, polo shirts may be purchased in sales units of 50 items. Therefore, you will only be able to order this item in increments of 50 i.e. 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 etc. For these items, the drop down menu in the Quantity section of the order page will only allow you to order items in these quantities, so you will not be able to make a mistake.

finalising your order

Once you have placed all the items you wish to order in your CART and you are happy with the total cost, (which is based on the highest cost bracket) you will then be able to request a DELIVERY QUOTE.

You have already been provided with a usename and password, so the next step after clicking on the 'Request Delivery Quote' button is to fill out these sections. We have already attached all your information to your username, so there is no need for you to fill in any details. Your Order request will automatically be sent to Martijn Goosen from European Procurements and an e-mail confirmation of your order will be sent to your inbox as reference.

We will be in touch within 3 weeks with a final delivery quote.

off-trade

The off-trade section has been designed to replicate the retail environment and offers you the opportunity to view our POS range within the context of both a large and small store environment.

You have the choice of two ways in which you can navigate the off-trade section:

  1. You can click on the OFF-TRADE MENU HEADER on the menu line, where you will be taken to a page and asked to choose the store type you wish to view
  2. Or, you can navigate via the drop-down menu which appears if you roll your mouse over the OFF-TRADE HEADER on the menu bar where you will be asked to choose the store type and viewing mode:

The first option displays the store type as an interactive panorama. The panorama can be used by dragging your mouse across the screen or clicking the on-image buttons.

You will see clearly marked 'hotspots'. By clicking a hotspot you will be given a list of Pilsner POS items which are suitable for display in the chosen area of the store. Select the item you wish to view and you will be presented with an item visual, descriptor copy and the option to download the artwork.

If you have chosen the 'VIEW ALL ITEMS BY LIST' option you will by-pass the interactive panorama section and go straight to the list of Pilsner items available in this store type area.

If you select to download the artwork you will be taken to a login page followed by a download page for the item selected.

Download Page

The download page provides three types of download:


The hi-res artwork should only be downloaded by approved Design and Print Production Agencies. These Illustrator CS compatible files are extremely large and can only be opened using compatible software.
